These are Minecraft commands that offer you shortcuts and also give you a chance at honing your Minecraft game. They permit you to make or tweak certain components to suit your gameplay. They also give you a much easier way to control your establishment.
Minecraft console commands are not necessarily considered cheat codes or commands. They have been created to grant you ease and control over your game, helping focus on the bigger moves.
Here are some basic commands you will surely need to play a Minecraft game to avoid getting unnecessarily frustrated.
This is a command that helps you move from one place to another without actually walking. This console command helps you to save time and use your time strategically. In a situation where you have more than one establishment or just a very big establishment, you don't have to drag yourself across the landscape. All you have to do is implement the teleportation command. You can also teleport other players as you wish. To implement this, /tp can do the job just fine.
This command is very closely related to teleportation. You get to bring objects, events, or entities into your time and space. This saves you the time you would spend going to get them yourself because you never can tell how far they are from you. You can also use this command to change your atmosphere or weather to suit your gameplay. You can even summon features to wherever you want them. Although this command has its limits, it can be a gamechanger for your gameplay.
If you think the level you are playing is too easy, too smooth, too rough, or too difficult, you haven't been forgotten as there is a command just for altering the difficulty level of your game. The level of difficulty you encounter can be set at either of the following: peaceful, easy, normal, or hard depending on your mood, choice, or pro level.
The command keys are different based on the edition you are playing. For example, in the Java edition, the peaceful option can be represented as 'p', easy as 'e', normal as 'n', and hard as 'h'. This set of commands are different in the Bedrock edition, where the peaceful setting can be connoted as 0, easy as 1, normal as 2, and hard as 3.
Your weather conditions can greatly affect how your game goes. It can affect how much ease you get playing the game or how hard the game gets. You can always tweak it to suit your preferences, giving you more comfortable gameplay or one that would keep you at the edge of your seat. The weather condition can also stand as a superficial addition to your game.
You also get access to beneficial features from this setting such as getting snow from rainfall. This could also serve as a weapon of some sort.
There are 4 different basic modes in Minecraft console commands. They are the survival mode, the creative mode, the adventure mode, and the spectator mode. Each model comes with a technicality, whether in survival mode, where you just want to gather resources or in the creative mode where you get to build as you want. To change your game mode, simply do this, /game mode, and then type in your game mode description.
This setting helps you locate the closest in-game structure to you. It helps you keep tabs on landmarks and structures so you don't need to always look for particular structures or treasure boxes. Just type in /locate and then put in the structure type and voila! the coordinates are displayed.
You might need to communicate with other players to pass across important information or send private messages to your teammates, warning them of imminent danger or making strategic plans to win a war. This option is most suitable for you using /tell, inputting your message format, recipient and contact. This is a good communication format if you don't already have a planned way of communicating.
This command can move you forward in time or take you back in time (reverse time). Changing your time setting can help give you an edge in your game over competitors. Changing the time of day in your world can also help to either put you on edge or relax you, depending on what time you've chosen.
Access this command by simply doing this /time.
The counting command helps you keep a tab on how many or how few entities or objects are. It also helps you to assess a situation. E.g you get to know how many members of the mob are approaching your territory so that you can calculate your attack. It also helps you to know how many fighters you have. To use this command, simply input /testfor. This is a simple command for carrying out censors.
This is a simple command to move your team players from one place to another or position to position. You get to know the whereabouts of any team member. /team. This is the simple key to managing your team.
This command helps you to stop your approaching enemies, freezing them in motion. It gives you the chance to get away or simply destroy them all at once.
This command helps your planted seed to grow out faster, more like instantly. This way you don't have to wait for so long to go about your business.
This command helps you have a fruitful Minecraft game even after you are dead (in the game). You get to keep all your loot and treasures. They don't get lost when you do.
These simple commands make your game of Minecraft worth your while. They help you save time and work strategically to build a befitting empire of your own, winning battles and conquering and amassing wealth and spoils of kingdoms you have conquered.

Every activity and event has a duration. The full-day has 24 hours of 12 hours each for night and day. Within this 24 hours, we designate certain times for specific activities. Minecraft day is modeled after this same pattern of life. Unlike in real life, The day and night cycle in Minecraft is 20 minutes. In Minecraft, mini times are assigned to different activities which are calculated quite differently and may pose challenges to understand.
As such, they need to be properly explained and broken down for ease of use and understanding.
In this piece, we are going to explore how the idea of time and day, the rise of the sun, and its setting are calculated and imitated in Minecraft.
As the name implies, Minecraft is a game for mining survival and creatively painting one's dream life with sand blocks.
The survival and creative game is however time conscious and requires the player to master its idea of time, especially day and night.
Before we go into a full exploration of the logic of the timing in Minecraft, let us point out some basics which inform the logic of the principles of Minecraft timing.
The entire cycle of day and night in Minecraft takes 20 minutes of real world time. This is however divided into two: day and night, with both taking 10 minutes each.
The days begin at in-game 6 AM. Below is a breakdown of how the daytime runs on Minecraft.
Night reins for a total of 10 minutes real-life time also in Minecraft. Below are the possible activities within this 10 minutes of the night time.
Because the time cycle and the effects they bring can be very confusing, especially to a new player, there is a way to simplify the whole issue of time and make it easier to be understood by the players. All that is required is for the player to make a clock using one redstone dust and four gold ingots which are are labeled dusk, midnight, Dawn and noon.
This clock is then read by watching the colours of the sky circle over to night sky and back.
This is is always very helpful, especially when a player is stucked underground, without knowing how safe it is to come out of their mines into the overworks.
However, this clock does not help at Minecraft nether or end. This is because, day and night do not exist at the Minecraft nether.
'Modpacks' is simply short for modification packs. The provision of modpacks is the best way to add varieties of features to Minecraft. A modpack is a group of several different modifications created to make your Minecraft game more adventurous, providing great features and upping your gameplay.
There are several modifications that have been made available for you to switch up your game. You might not be able to have all of them and that's why modpacks have been made available. All you have to do is choose which group you want.
To access and enjoy these varieties of modifications and added features, you have to download them. Ensure you use trusted sources to download them so you don't end up getting viruses or malware. To download them, you can use the official Minecraft forum and known sources such as PlanetMinecraft launcher, CurseForge / Overwolf launcher, Technipack, or Feed The Beast (FTB) launcher.

Launchers require you to input your real Minecraft name and password on their site. This is safe for Feed The Beast launcher and also Overwolf launcher. Modpacks contain many features which can all be used simultaneously. The pack you pick determines the type of game you play and each modpack is run on a different version from the rest. Every modification is supported by certain versions of Minecraft and the version determines the type of modification included in the pack.
Here are some of the best modpacks available for you.
This is one of the best and most interesting modpacks you can get on Minecraft. It is about building a factory in the sky. You are provided with a tree and the crust of earth the tree grew from and you are surrounded by a vast emptiness. How are you expected to expand with just that? Well, cutting down the tree is the way to go. The leaves of the felled tree decay and form young trees, increasing the number of trees you have as you do this over time. The expansion of your island leads to the discovery of more very useful resources for you.
This modpack is close to the Sky Factory 4, only that your world is filled with stones and you have to mine the stones for resources, unlike in Sky Factory 4 where you get your resources from the tree. It uses the E mod, where you are allowed to trade most items for other items you think would be useful to you. E.g, you can trade 100 stones for 100 EMC. You can also trade EMC for iron or gold. With the EMC, you can trade junk for valuable stuff. This modpack also features Draconic Evolutions, giving you the chance to build energy storage, bows, and power armor to defend yourself and your park against the chaos guardian or chaos chicken, depending on the pack.
It is a great choice for veteran players. This modpack is very challenging as it features dragons flying around in the main world where you can easily be killed. It was the most downloaded modpack in February 2021. If you like challenges, then this modpack is for you.
This modpack has many gameplay styles. It is a general all-purpose modpack that has a lot of the common Minecraft modifications. It has 2 modes, the normal mode and the expert mode which is more difficult and makes the game prolonged and challenging. It can be downloaded on the Feed The Beast launcher.
This pack runs on the latest version, bringing to you very current content you will love like Botania, Biomes O'Plenty, and Immersive Engineering. These current contents have replaced some of the older versions like Draconic Evolution, Tinker's Construct, and EnderIO. You can download this modpack on curseforge.
It comes as a quest, guiding you to the objectives of the pack. You get to grow a world again from a world that has become a wasteland. The progression of this game is slow which brings about the challenges of trying to protect yourself from monsters and a stronger mob. You are not able to gather enough resources or equipment that would help you protect yourself in time. It can be downloaded on the Feed The Beast launcher.
This is a Pokemon-themed Minecraft for lovers of Pokemon. With pixelmon moderation as the main modification in the pack, you also get Biomes O'Plenty, Gameshark, BOP patcher, Pixelmon OST, and Pixel Extras.
This mod pack does not contain all the modifications there are but it contains a whole lot of modifications just to make your Minecraft game brilliant and worth your while. With this modpack, you also get continuous updates and regular bug fixes.
Hexxit is loaded with features like dungeons and dangerous dragons where you get to fight and train dragons and also clear the dungeons. If you like combat and adventure, this modpack is designed especially for you. It has a total of 55 mods including Tinker's Constructs, Soul Shards, and Xeno's Reliquary.
It is spiced up with the latest space-themed mod for outer space enthusiasts. It has no quests, just goals and with the aid of the achiever's book, you know what to do and how to do it.
Do you enjoy the dark and dank feel of the dungeons? And the thrill that comes with exploring and fighting? You should try out this mod pack. You get to explore dungeons, loot them and fight off the mob and in return get rewarded. There is no technology here, just good old adventure, discovery, and battle.
With any of these amazing modpacks, you get to have a thrilling adventure in Minecraft. Try one or all and you will be awed and sucked into the whirlpool of Minecraft.
When activated using redstone, a command block in Minecraft can be used to run console commands. With a few commands, these blocks can be used for simple activities, but they can also be used in enormous adventure maps with a large number of command blocks to activate various events. With command block creation, your only limitation is your creativity. A comprehensive look into command blocks and all of its settings and configuration options is provided in this guide.
Because of the command blocks' immense power, some requirements must be completed before they may be used in your server. To begin, go into the server's settings and enable command blocks. Second, in order to place the block, you must be OP on the server and in creative mode.
These blocks aren't listed in the creative mode menu like the rest. The /give command is required to obtain this sort of block. You must be the owner of the server in order to use this command. Enter the following command in the multicraft panel interface if you haven't:
"op USERNAME" - Make sure you don’t use a / as any input in the console, else it assumes it’s a command.
Getting OP status on the server will allow you to give yourself a command block with a single command issue.
/give USERNAME minecraft:command_block
The command block should now be ready for placement if you've followed the previous steps correctly. If you right-click on the block, you'll see something like this:
The command to be executed by the block should be entered into the Console Command input area. There is a character restriction of 32,500 in this field. There is no need to start these commands with a / because they will be executed by the server, just like if you ran them from the console. When you use redstone to activate this block, everything you type here will be executed.
A small button with the letter O can be seen on the right side of the screen, as shown in the screenshot. This signifies that the command block will keep and display the previous output. It will not save and display the previous output if you click the button and change it to an X.
Three types of Command Blocks will be available. A command block is something that can be used repeatedly. Blocks of impulse commands will be orange in colour and will carry out a single operation each time they are used. The command blocks in the chain will be illuminated in green. Each time they are triggered, these will go into action, presuming they have already been set to do so. Finally, the command blocks for Repeat will be purple. While they're active, they run one per game tick.
Either Conditional or Unconditional can be used as the block's condition. If you use the conditional setting, the command block will only run if the one before it has successfully run.. When using the unconditional setting, the command block will run regardless of whether or not any other command blocks follow it.
The redstone configuration is simple. Activating the command block when it's in the Needs Redstone state requires redstone. When the command block is set to Always Active, it will remain active even if no redstone signal is received.
To reward a random participant, use this command blockchain! Also, let the server know about it.
There are four command blocks required for this. A standard Impulse command block must be used as the starting point for the rest of the program. Chain command blocks should be used for the final three. To keep the chain active, either add additional redstone power or make the Chain blocks active in the interface. In order to keep the sequence moving, make sure that the arrows are pointing to the next command block. This is what my chain looks like now that I've made the blocks always active.
Commands must be included in the first command block are as follows:
/tag @r add cookie
The following command should be in the second command block:
/give @a[tag=cookie] minecraft:cookie 5
The following command belongs in the third command block:
/say @a[tag=cookie] has been given 5 cookies!
Finally, in the fourth command block, the following instruction should be included:
/tag @a[tag=cookie] remove cookie
You'll get 5 cookies and the server will know about it once you activate the first command block.
You may create extremely complex teleportation systems on your server using command blocks. The nether portal highway could be replaced with a network of teleport stations scattered around your region instead.
Each command block you place at a station can teleport a player to another station on the map with a single button push. To do this, use the following command: /teleport @p
A good rule of thumb is to do some reconnaissance before sending the players on their way to ensure they don't end up in any perilous situations.
There is a possibility that the commands you're attempting to run through the command block won't work. This could be because the block contains restrictions on the types of commands it can successfully execute. Command Blocks carry out operations with permissions set to 2. So the following commands are out of the question: /ban, /banlist, /ban-ip, /debug, /deop, /
